Objectives:-
1) To remove water content of bioslurry cake obtained after filtration of bioslurry.
2) To used belling machine to remove water content.
3) calculating LOD of slurry cake after using belling machine.

Needs of Project:-
1.Transportation and collection of bio slurry is also a challenging and difficult part for maintaining biogas.

2.It is easy to use if we extract solid cake or manure from bio- slurry.

  1. To dewater or to extract solid cake from slurry commercially is done by 10 HP motor based ‘DEWATERING MACHINE’ is used which is very costly and cannot be easily afforded by middleclass farmers.
  2. Filtration process is low cost and easily can be used by small farmers.

Methodology:-
1)Initially, bioslurry cake was taken after filtration of bioslurry and belling machine was used to remove water from it.
2) bioslurry cake was put into belling machine and pressure was applied from above. So that the water level in it would decrease.
3) After the cake prepared in the belling machine, we would Calculate its LOD.

Introduction:

BioGas: Biogas is easy and effective type of renewable energy. Biogas is a naturally occurring and renewable source of energy, resulting from the breakdown of organic matter such as cow-dung, kitchen waste etc.

Bio-slurry:

What is bioslurry: Biogas slurry is a secondary product produced by anaerobic fermentation of bio-materials, which has been widely used as a fertilizer in agricultural production.

  1. Biogas slurry is not only an environmentally friendly organic fertilizer, but also an efficiently utilized waste material.
  2. Biogas slurry has two main uses for plant production: it is used as a bio fertilizer with high levels of nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), potassium (K), and other trace elements,
  3. It is as a biological pesticide due to its high levels of amino acids, growth hormones, and antibiotics, all of which promote plant growth.
  4. Bio-gas slurry is a rich source of nutrients and bioactive compounds having an important role in establishing diverse microbial communities, accelerating nutrient use efficiency, and promoting overall soil and plant health management.

Process:

A belling machine was available in the Ashram, which was initially used for a other purpose. After discussion with dixit sir we decided to use this machine to make bioslurry cake bell.

First, I took the belling machine in the ashram to the workshop. After that, the belling machine was dismantled using a spanner. I removed the mulch that was previously in the belling machine was cleaned.

Then, a stand is taken and mosquito nets are placed in it, so that the bioslurry water can easily pass through it and it can be stored at the bottom of the stand. Collected 30 kg of bioslurry in a bucket.

After taking the bioslurry left in the mosquito net and weighing it, its weight was 17 kg i.e. 13 kg of water was lost from the bioslurry by using the mosquito net. Our bioslurry cake made. To reduce the water in it, we will put it in the belling machine for bell.

Then the bioslurry is put into the baling machine and pressure is applied from above, as the middle plate goes down, the water in the bioslurry comes out from the side pipe. We store that water in a bucket.

After weighing the bioslurry left in the belling machine after applying pressure in the belling machine, it weighed 13 kg. In the above experiment I observed that if we remove the water from the bioslurry by mosquito net, we can further reduce the water level by 25 percent.

The bioslurry cake left over from the belling machine, 100 grams, was taken, and then placed in an oven at 105 °C. Then every one hour I turned off the oven and weighed it. I took readings until it reached three times its constant weight.

Conclusion:-

  1. The water level in bioslurry can be reduced by 55-60% with the use of mosquito net.
  2. The water level in bioslurry cake can be reduced 60-65% with the use of  belling machine.
  3. The total water level in bioslurry can be reduced 80-85% with the use of  Mosquito net & Belling machine.
  4. Reduced the water level in bioslurry then decreased its weight.
  5. It will be required less storage space.
  6. It is easy to transport one place to another place.
