HEAT EXCHANGER
This project proposes a hybrid heating system that uses a vacuum tube solar water heater with a parabolic collector as the primary heat source and a gasifier as a backup. The heated water is circulated through a cross-flow radiator (heat exchanger), where heat is transferred to air.
Heat exchangers are devices that transfer heat from one medium to another without mixing them, with the growing demand for clean and renewable energy, there is a need for cost effective methods to enhance the performance of solar thermal systems.
Agricultural products require proper drying to reduce moisture and prevent spoilage. This project provides an energy efficient drying system using solar energy which has efficiency of 65%, with a gasifier as a backup, reducing fuel consumption and improving the quality of dried products.
