After discussion with Dr. Dixit And Mr. Ranjit we select the percentage of azolla & kitchen waste which is added in each trays

Tray NoAzollaKitchen waste
A1,A250%50%
B1,B275%25%
C1,C225%75%
D1100%
E1100% (Grind)
F1100%

Addition of kitchen waste and azolla in trays.

Tray NoAzolla (Wet Basis)Kitchen waste
A1,A21 kg1 kg
B1,B21.5 kg500 gm
C1,C2500 gm1.5 kg
D12 kg
E12 kg (Grind)
F12 kg
Addition of Azolla and Kitchen Waste in Each Tray

collecting azolla for BSF feeding.

To feeding the azolla into the trays we have to grind it properlly.after grinding the azolla properlly we added into the trays

Grinding of Azolla

I have observed all tray .i observed that the larva in tray named as C1 and C2 are growing better than other trays

then the larva in tray A1 and A2 the percentage of feeding kitchen waste and azolla 50% each is also growing properlly

after that the larva in tray named as D1 is feeding with 100% kitchen waste is in good condition

but i have observed that the larve in tray E1 and F1 are didn’t grow properlly their growth is as it is .they were reamins constant size

collecting kitchen waste from khed industrial area kitchen

collecting azolla for grinding purpose from vigyan ashram azolla processing unit

I have observe the size of black soldier fly from the differant trays

08-06-2022

  • we are taking tray and seprate larva and waste seprately in diffeerant trays

of their sequence of the trays .

  • taking larva seprate from waste
  • taking weight of larva and remaing waste collected from each tray
  • after taking the trays we observe that growth of the larva is difeerant in each tray
Sepration of larva and waste material from tray

RESULT:- Here is the weight of the differant trays

Sr.No Tray No Weight of LarvaWeight of compostAvg wt
1A1,A22.892 Kg 3.296 Kg0.12 gm
2 B1,B22.083 Kg4.056 Kg0.07 gm
3C1,C20.046 Kg2.906 Kg0.14 gm
4 D 1.720 Kg1.620 Kg0.16 gm
5E409 gm723 gm0.06 gm
6F273 gm412 gm0.04 gm

OBSERVATIONS

  1. We measures the larva and compost in all trays
  2. the growth of larva in tray D (100% K.W) is very good and condition of larva is also good
  3. the growth of larva in tray C1,C2(25% Azolla,75%K.W) is also good
  4. The larva in tray E(100% grind azolla ) and F(100% azolla) both are not growwing properly.
