Title: Re-design Chinese rice planting machine for Indian farms

Background: For planting rice, the traditional Indian farmer has to bend for long times, and hence is a very difficult back-breaking task for workers. Additionally:

  •   it is time consuming process.
  •   more workers required for this.

Hence a machine is required. Already there is a Chinese model in market but it not working on Indian land. It has failed in testing on bed prepared for planting rice (tested at Navapur, Dist. Nandurbar, Maharashtra, India) and hence some modifications are required. These are:

  • in moving parts
  • avoid friction
  • timing mechanism, etc.
