INTRODUCTION
This was my first main project that was given to me by Vigyan Ashram. This project is a Livestock Shed Modification sortout in Vigyan Ashram.

Firstly, We were given individual projects by Prasad sir and I was given the project of the livestock shed problem. In that, I wanted to find out the problem of three sheds in the ashram means cow sheds, goat sheds, and poultry sheds. I wanted to contact bhanudas sir of the agriculture department of the ashram and understand the problem.

After that, I met Bhanudas sir and we discussed it by telling me that I had been given a project on a livestock shed. Then in this discussion, Bhanudas sir was telling me about the problem in the livestock shed, and I wanted to note that problem in the notebook. After that, i made a rough sketch in my daily notebook because it would have been helpful for me.

Firstly, I took the dimensions of the barn structure. In it length, width, height, and drainage system means gutter. After that, the size of the feeder was taken. They learned from the children what they do for cleanliness. After that, the dimensions of the goat shed, the length, width, and height of the inner and outer space. After that, the measurement of the feeder was taken.

We had a review of every DIC member’s project. That meeting was taken by Kulkarni, sir. Kulkarni sir is the director of the Vigyan Ashram. sir reviewed the projects that have been given and how far the work of the projects has been completed.
Later asked me when I had come to the ashram and what I had done since then told sir about the sheet we made and discussed about livestock shed project with me.
Then i am watching some YouTube videos related to the cow shed, poultry shed, and also the goat shed, After that, I got some ideas related to the livestock shed problems.

Then our HOD S.K Jain sir came to visit. We all explained our project to our HOD. First we started with the Hydrophonics project which was given to Tejasvi Mhatre. She explained what is her actual project. Then next one is harsh, he is explained our project. how to use the electric fencing ? Then Jain sir told us the possible solutions for those project. Then we went to BSF chamber which was project given to Nivedita so she explained it to sir. After sir asked me about my project. that time i am told us about my project

First, I had to draw the design of the manger, so I took the dimensions of the manger. While taking the dimensions, students from DY Patil College came to the ashram for a visit. I informed them about my project and explained what I would be working on in this project.

Completed the assembly yesterday and showed it to Prasad sir. So Prasad sir said, I don’t want direct design, I want engineering drawing. Then I went to the shed and got the exact dimensions of everything.

After I took the dimensions of the shed yesterday, After taking the dimensions of the shed yesterday, I took out the engineering drawing, and showed it to Abhijit sir, but he said that such a drawing is not required. Then I started drawing again.

Today our review was done. We filled out the Google form for our project. After filling out the Google form, we showed it to Dixit sir, but there were many mistakes in that form so he filled the form again.

After that, the main design was to be drawn which is cow shade and goat shade. Because the ashram wanted this design as a reference. Because many farmers come, they don’t understand how to have structure means cow and goat shade in one shade. And if the ashram is to be built further, this structure was drawn for how it should be. For that, the sketch was drawn on the design page.

The calculation for bringing manger material is done as follows

Prasad sir looked at the design and asked some questions: What was the volume of the previous manger? How much food is given in a day? How much food does a goat eat?
So my answer is that goats eat 4-5 kg of feed per day, and they are fed 3 times a day and 6-7 kg at a time. To find the volume of the previous manger, I took a container, weighed it, put food in it, and weighed it again. The rest is as follows.
weight = 172.22 g/L (0.1722 Kg)
Density= 172 kg/m3
Volume = Mass/Density = 6/172.2
Volume = 0.034m3

After discussing with Dixit Sir, the fabrication of manger was started and it was already an L angle, so he asked to use the same L angle. Then L angle cut was done.

If the outer part of the manger was completed, the sheet had to be bent, so I bent that sheet on the bending machine and started welding.

Finished the welding and left it to the manger. And took the handle from both sides. Grading was also done in it.

After welding manger 3 in 1 acid cleaned it and then powder coated it. Then after applying the powder, put it in the oven and heat it, then take it out after 6 to 7 hours.
