Objectives of Assignments:- Maintaince of E-Rikshaw

Tasks 1:- (16/10/23)

In this task, I worked on the hood of the e-rikshaw. The hood of the e-rikshaw was torn in two or three places, so I had to replace the existing hood with another hood. I started to work on it first I removed the self-locking screw with the help of a screwdriver then I removed the hood it was in bad condition, so I took the hood of another e-rikshaw which was in good condition then with the help of a drill machine one by one I fitted all self-locking screw and the hood get fixed.

Task 2:- (18/10/23)

In the inspection, we noticed that the sheet had a few cracks in the corners and the plywood was also in poor condition, so we decided to replace it. To do this, we removed the pins holding the seat cover with plywood. Then, we took out the cracked plywood and examined the cushion inside. We confirmed that the cushion was in good shape, so we replaced the old plywood with new plywood, and we also replaced the nut bolts of the plywood clips.

Task 3:- (20/10/23)

We removed the brake shoe of the rear wheel of the e-rikshaw and inspected it, we found that the surface area of the brake shoe was damaged and it became smooth and did not generate friction between the drum and brake shoe This’s why the brake is not working correctly. so we took the brake shoe and made the design of its contact surface with the help of the grinder after this it got a perfect friction surface after this we assembled the brake shoe took a trail and it was working perfectly.

Task 4:- (21/10/23)

In this task, we have been told to remove the oil from the shock absorber of front wheel and fill the new oil in it. Firstly we separated the shock absorber with wheel from the e-rikshaw after that we collected the oil from shock absorber into a small vessel and then we filled the new oil in to the shock absorbers .

Task 5:- (25/10/23)

On 25 Oct 2023 I took the trail of E-Rikshaw in that trail I found that the oil is leking from the centre of the differential gear box.

After that one by one I seperated the differential gear box, shafts, wheels, motor and some other things. After that I identified the likage problem that the was ocurring due to the bond tight between the two surface of differential gear box was not properly fixed. Then we cleaned the diffential gear box and removed the bond tight from it’s joining surface.
