Introduction:- In solar dryer project warm air was passed in pipes.The assignment work is useful to solar dryer projects.
Objective:- To measure the air flow in pvc pipe holes using anemometer and fan.

we took a pvc pipe having 5 ft. long and creates holes in pipe of size 4 mm,6 mm, 8mm at distance 1 feet. we pack one end of pipe with help of plastic bag.at other end we blow air with fan and use anemometer for determining air flow.
Fan blowing air before sealing ends of pipe was 435(m3/min)
4 mm hole 55.3 m3/min
6 mm hole = 78.6 m3/min
8 mm hole = 106.3 m3/min
In these assignment we assume that the air flow do not constant in small and large holes because large holes carry high flow. rather than these two holes are arranged in same manner.when we create same size holes then air flow in first hole will be more, rather than others.
Conclusion:- These readings will be helpful for solar dryer for dry the material using hot air flow in tubes.

Our another work is to finding air velocity of blower at morning, afternoon, evening period for learn that solar PV panel how much works in this periods using vfd and anemometer.

Conclusion :- About these readings we know that the electricity generation in afternoon is high as compare to morning and evening period.so blower reading is high. also cloud period is affects on the generation.
