Objective:
Take Trials of Dome dryer trials on 1kg, 5kg, 3 trials of 15kg grapes and reduce drying time and maintain food value of raisins.
Procedure followed was:
- Did 6 trials on dome dryer.
- For trial no1,
I did blanching of 1 kg of grapes in half liter milk at 90 degrees Celsius dropped them into hot milk for 30 seconds.
Loaded batch to solar dome dryer v2.1.
Took initial LOD and it was 74.82%. - For trial no2,
Ameya and I did blanching of 5 kg of grapes in 90ml of dipping oil at 40 degrees Celsius dropped them into dipping oil for 3 minutes.
Loaded batch to solar dome dryer v2.1 on 18th April 2019 at 5 pm. It was 6 days batch. I took a sample for LOD from southside only. - For trial no3,
Ameya and I did blanching of 15 kg of grapes in 270ml of dipping oil at 40 degrees Celsius dropped them into dipping oil for 3 minutes.
Loaded batch to solar dome dryer v2.1 on 25th April 2019 at 10 pm. It was 6 days batch. - For 4th, 5th and 6th no trial same procedure followed, the only difference is 4th trial and the 6th trial was taken in sunlight and a 5th one is in the shed.

Conclusion:
The first 4 trials were good there was no fungus infection or no bad smell, only problem was the raisins color they were dark brown and brown colored. The trial no 5 was not so good as compared to other trials. And because of heavy rain I had stopped trial in middle soit was incomplete.

To postprocess raisins and maintain its color.
