Objective:

To develop a project by using all FabLab machine and arduino.

Idea:

I decided to do a project on the persistence of vision which included Arduino, laser cutter, modella machine and designing software.

Persistence of vision refers to the optical illusion whereby multiple discrete images blend into a single image in the human mind and believed to be the explanation for motion perception in cinema and animated films.

-In this project first i did connections of arduino and components on bread board.I checked whether program is running or not.

-Then i decided to make printed circuit board.I made design for pcb in EAGLE software. This software is quite easy to handle.

-Then i used modella machine to print the track on board.First take a board and cut it into required size .Then print it.After printing connect and solder the components. Resistors should connect to positive pin of respective LEDs and negative pins should be connected together. Then connect LEDs to arduino .Connect first LED to arduino  pin2.second LED to arduino pin3.One can refer to arduino code for connection of LEDs with arduino. Connect all LEDs accordingly. Now, connect a 9V battery with regulator.

-After that i designed some parts in inscape to cut in laser cutter which was used to  mount pcb, arduino board and battery on motor or fan.I made two parts one was long strip with half circle and another part is circle.

-I used 12V ac fan to give effect of persistence of vision .First i mounted pcb, arduino board and battery on laser cutted acrylic sheet.
