We conducted the first trial on new Solar Dome Dryer version 2.1
installed at Vigyan Ashram. We used Azola as a substrate for trial. we grow Azola in Bio-Dome for poultry feed and composting. The trial was conducted by Intern Prajakta Powar.
We loaded approximately 9.7 Kg of azola in all trays of the dome dryer. The azola got dryed in one day as bright sunlight was available and the humidity was also low. Resulting we got 870 grams of azola. This proved working of dome dryer.
