An infrared thermometer is a thermometer which infers temperature from a portion of the thermal radiation sometimes called black body radiation emitted by the object being measured.

Procedure :

  1. Measure the peanut and fill in the drum roster, close the door.
  2. Adjust the Scheffler focus point and concentration toward the drum roaster.
  3. start the motor and also measure the ambient temperature.
  4. then take a reading of drum roster temperature after an equal time interval.
