Today we visited fro the installation of Microwave Dryer at Mr. Gitaram Kadam;s farm at Nhavra, Pune.
It is a 15Kw Microwave dryer. It is a continuous production type.
The dryer has Four 1KW Magnatrons that generate Microwaves. These microwaves directly evaporate he water in the substrate and a suction fan sucks out the moisture liberated. The line of Microwave Dehydration is assisted with a 8KW Infrared heating with temperature control to drive out core moisture.
