Introduction: the Chimney project was assigned to me from Prasad sir,the Aim is to recreate the kitchens Chimney which the efficiency of the mild steel sheet pipe is to low and not in good condition,fabric

*so it’s is necessary to redesign Chimney cause the whole parts were not in good working condition

Parts like :the mild steel pipe, rectangular duct ,vane blower

Description: on 26/10/2023 Prasad sir assigned me the project Chimney on the same day with the help of rithesh I had disassembled the Chimney from the ruff of Kitchen As well as rectangular duct, i observed they r in so poor condition and the mild steel pipe had cracks in middle vane blower had damaged we thought to change this all old poor condition parts

we had a meeting with Prasad sir as discussed problems of Chimney,to change poor damaged parts we got permission to start work before starting of work I had drawn 3D diagrams of Chimney nd made changes in measurements and also in type of material we required, we had done quality check and separated good working parts a side nd not working damaged parts a side

the measurements of the pervious Chimneys pipe and duct were as follows: the length of the rectangular duct is 360.00mm and width is of 159.81mm, the length of the mild steel pipe bottom to top near by rectangular duct is of 2401.99mm the measurements I had updated newly as follows, the length of the rectangular duct 40cm,width is if 20cm,height is of 16cm and the length of the fan blower is 30cm,width is of 25cm,height 20cm square feet of rectangular duct is 3.1000 ft², Area 2840 cm²,square feet of fan blower 1.829 ft² ,Area 1700cm² *the height of the flap is 15.9cm and width is of 19.5cm,* Dia of the cement pipe 4.3 and the total length of the cement pipe is of 199cm ,2m.the diameter of the bottom Portion of cement pipe is of 13.25 cm

Prasad sir had verified drawing and measurements he had approved to start work,we brought a mild steel sheet of length 60and width of 62cm ,the total area is of 3720cm² ,we made a rectangular duct length 40cm,sides width is of 16cm,bottom top width is of 20cm and we made a hole for lower portion of rectangular duct diameter is of 4.3cm to inset cement pipe into rectangular duct, made a flap with ss sheet height of it is 16 cm and width is of 19.5cm * the flap plays a main role of protecting vane blower from smoke released from Kitchen, ex: when we had a Power loss flap stops the somke. not to enter into the vane blower so there will be no damage to the vane blower nd connections of it and it’s working period of life time will be increased

we had a meeting with Prasad sir about the support of the vane blower nd it’s protection

we concluded that to take a mild steel sheet nd to make a rectangle cut equal to the vane blower outlet . The ms sheet of the vane blower width is of 16cm and length 21cm , I had made holes for rectangular duct nd as well as for the ms sheet by using the help of drilling machine and we used riveting , welding to attache the rectangular duct to vane blower support nd after we joint vane blower to the rectangular duct by the help of nut bolting nd i complete welding of rectangular duct

done the painting for the rectangular duct I had take gi sheet vth a area of 1700cm SQ ND square feet 1.829 FT SQ and length of 25cm ,width of 18cm . this gi sheet i had used for the protection for the vane blower, after i had made holes for the rectangular duct and combained vane blower protection to the rectangular duct

29/11/23 we had fixed the rectangular duct to the chimney pipe

for support i had used a long angle bar and a circle strip and welded the both angle bar nd circular strip ,by using this the chimney pipe will be stable and no chances to collapse

the rectangular duct is not in exact position so i had changed the position and gave a support by using medium ,short iron bars so the rectangular duct may not fall down in future
