VIGYAN ASHRAM TOUR

This is the first day of our in Vigyan Ashram and we did a tour of Ashram.
WORKSHOP:
In the workshop, we observed so many things made by Vigyan Ashram’s students
A)COMPOSTER: kitchen waste 16-17 kg, compost waste in 30-45 days.
B) FUTURE INNOVATION SYSTEM:
C) DOME TYPE STRUCTURE: Head fan, contain 5 trays
D) WASTE MANAGEMENT UNIT:
E) TOOL: CNC Cutting Machine – 3*15m bed , Plasma- 5mm thickness metal, Gas- upto 100mm.
G) INVERTER – Batteries
H) LATHE MACHINE : Shaping drilling, sanding, turning, cutting and deformation.
I) BENCH VICE : Essential and integral tools are used in metal working wood working.
J) BENDING MACHINE : To assemble a bend on a workpiece . A bending tool during a linear or rotating move.

MONOFAB: Electronic micro laser, Carpentory tools, casing
FISH FEEDING UNIT: Solar Bubbler is used to oxygen for fish.
HYDROPHONICS: For irrigation without soil, fruits and vegetables. Eg. Marigold, Geranium, Brinjal.
HYACINTH: This is an aquatic plant that has oxygen levels maintains.
SOLAR PANEL: Collect sunlight and convert it into electricity

On the second day . Survana Mam took lecture of all us and told us about the blog. She also told us how to log in Vigyan Ashram blog website ,how to set feature image , how to set profile picture ,how to publish the written blog, she told us that she will given log in username and password later.
In the afternoon session , Prathamesh Sir took our lecture on the topic of Design Thinking Process . He told us about the five factors of design thinking process i.e. Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, Test.
That day he lectured on what empathy is. From that lecture we learn that true empathy is just a feeling of jou, sadness or excitement in a group of people that everyone feels at the same time. Empathy is the first step in any innovation. If you want to make any tool, we consider decisions, biases and assumptions that all come in sympathy.

A] SOLAR DOME DRYER
Maximum surface area of dome is exposed to sun and drying process get faster.
Dome dryer is loading capacity-1.2m2
Loading area for drying 25kg
Dome dryer is 5 trays
•Chikoo took 8days dehydrate.
•6kg dried chikoo dome dryer.
•They got 600gm dehydrate.
•Okra took 4-5 days to dry
•Mango Slice will dry in 8 days.
•The banana will dry in 4days and They dried 5kg banana slices.
•They got 500gm dehydrated banana.

BENEFITS:
(1) Low energy consumption than AC powered refrigerator.
(2) In remote areas with erratic electric supply,these refrigerator turn out to be much more reliable than traditional electric refrigerator.
(3) Day or night, solar refrigerators are designed to work flawlessly all year round without any dependence from the power grid.
(4) Solar fridges generally operate on only 12v /24v, instead of higher dangerous volatages.
•OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS:
(1) Avoid wear and tear of Aluminium foil inside the fridge.
(2) Do not store hot substances directly in the fridge ,let to be cool and then store.
(3) Handle with care.
(4) Maintain the battery acid level every month.
(5) Make sure that battery is charged by seeing the solar cahrge controller.

Solar panel system of 6.5kw capacity. Solar panelsare two sets in Vigyan Ashram and each has 10 panels . Which means of a total of 20 panels. Solar panel power generators 32kw/day for 20panel.

Photovolatics: (PV) is the conversion of light into electricity using semiconducting materials that exhibits the photovolatic effect.

SOLAR WATER HEATER:
Inside the each glass tube, a flat or curved aluminium or copper fin is attached to a metal heat pipe running through the inner tube. The fin is covered with a selective coating that trasfers heat to the fluid that is circulating through the pipe. This sealed copper heat pipe transfer the solar heat via convection of its internar heat transfer fluid to a “hot bulb” that indirectly heats a copper mainfold within the header tank.These copper pipes are all connected to a storage tank,thus heating the hot water during the day.
PARABOLIC SOLAR CONCENTRATOR:
We are trying to use parabolic solar concentrator to condense milk.We have designed a strirrer which will operatebon solar energy.40 dish on parabolic solar concentartion.
