Introduction :
This project focuses on feeding and monitoring Black Soldier Fly (BSF) larvae using organic waste such as vegetable waste, fruit waste, meat waste, eggshells, food leftovers, and grain slurry. The larvae help in waste management by waste compost.

Background :
BSF larvae are used for organic waste management and waste decomposition.

  • Problem: The BSF larvae were not growing properly because of improper feeding,
  • Approach: I am solving this problem by improving the feeding process,

Aim :
The aim of this work is to feed and monitor the growth of BSF larvae using organic feed and grain slurry while maintaining suitable environmental. The project also focuses on proper waste management and feed for chickens using BSF larvae.

Objectives :
1) To prepare and provide food for BSF larvae.
2) To monitor the growth and activity of the larvae.
3) To maintain proper feeding conditions for healthy development.
4) To check and maintain the moisture level of the feed.
5) To ensure smooth functioning of the monitoring system.
