Calculation of Insects on Capsicum

06/05/2025

Pranit was absent, so he handed over his work to me. I counted the thrips and mites on the capsicum plants.

And also collect the data for AI Model.

1.Thrips : ( Order : Thysanoptera)

-Size : Tiny insects (less than1mm long)

-Feeding Habits : Thrips feed by piercing plant cells and sucking out the contents.

-Impact on Capsicum : They can cause major economic damage and also spread viral diseases like tomato spotted wilt virus.

2.Mites : (especially spider mites)

-Size : Microscopic arachnids (around 0.5mm)

-Feeding Habits : They suck the sap from the underside of leaves.

-Impact on Capsicum : Mites can significantly reduce yield and weaken the plant.
