Prosthetic Hand(Isabella Hand)

A2:Mechanical Hand

Vigyan Ashram has decided to give one hand to the amputee person in Pabal. We decided to give him a mechanical(Isabella )hand .For that we took measurements of amputee person.Both of his hand and perimeter. Then scaled size file was given for 3d printing outside.As we have some issues with our 3d-printer.It took whole 2 days for printing.

3D printing helps a lot in making things fast.But quite difficult part of it is to remove support meaning cleaning it.I almost spent whole day to clean it,making hole in it.Then we did thermo-forming of parts.As it was necessary to make it in shape.So basic task was-

-Cleaning/removing support

-Making holes through hand by heating

-Thermo-forming
