I used two methods to calculate water requirement.

METHOD 1

Formule

Va=A * ETmax / Ea

Where,

Va=Required volume of water for area(A)

A=Specific area that is to be irrigated (116 sq m)

Ea=Design application efficiency of sprinkler

= 75% ( internet)

ETmax= maximum evapotranspiration (8 mm )

Va= 116*8/75%

     =1237 lit

Water required is 1237 lit.

Referance:-

METHOD 2

# pan evaporation rate is 20 to 60 % of evapotranspiration.

Evapotranspiration in pabal = 8 mm

=8 + 20% =9.6

water requirement = area * daily epr / 1000

= 116*9.6/1000= 1113 lit

Water requirement of area = 1113 lit
