Objective:

The objective was to take the 3D design workshop in Amboli’s school on 22nd March 2019.

Introduction:

3D product design is the creation of a product in a virtual environment such as the product has three dimensions (height, width, depth).  The result is a digital prototype of your product, one you can explore in detail.

In the 3D computer graphics3D modeling is the process of developing a mathematical representation of any surface of an object (either inanimate or living) in 3 dimensions via specialized software. The product is called a 3D model. Someone who works with 3D models may be referred to as a 3D artist. It can be displayed as a two-dimensional image through a process called 3D rendering or used in a computer simulation physical phenomena. The model can also be physically created using 3D printing devices.

Models may be created automatically or manually. The manual modeling process of preparing geometric data for 3D computer graphics is similar to plastic art such as sculpting.

Advantages:

  • Without digital prototyping, you’d need to use more budget-vaporizing physical prototypes, watch time slip away, and get to market later with a product that might not be optimized.
  • The 3D design makes your life as a product designer easier and faster, giving you more time and energy to devote to optimizing your product.

Next Plan:

To take Amboli school, Dist. Pune student’s workshop 3d printing on 25th March 2019 in vigyan ashram.
